Erick was born in Wise, Virginia on October 5, 1968. He attended the University of Virginia's College at Wise, where he received his degree in History with minors in Economics and Government in 1990. Erick then went on to the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law and received his law degree in 1996.
Mr. Bowman has specialized in Social Security Disability since 1996.
Erick is a member of the Kentucky Bar, National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR), Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys & American Bar Association.
He is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth and Sixth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky and the Eastern District of Tennessee, and the US Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
